Well today my daughter (and very fussy eater) had a major breakthrough...she voluntarily mixed smooth and crunchy textures in her cereal!!! Usually Amy rejects anything smooth, including all sauces and won't eat food on her plate that has touched another item on her plate...you know when the spinach touches her favourite chicken nuggets...out they go!
I'm excited for her - this is a major step forward in her sensory aversions!! I remember seeing really lovely steps towards this in the first round of the Tomatis Listening Program, which we completed about 8 weeks ago. We should have started this second round sooner but life happened!
